Watch and listen to each step in a lesson first. Click Try It to do each step yourself in Director. Once you click the Try It button, the Learning Director movie window collapses to let you try each step on the Director stage. Nothing will happen until you try a step. When you finish, click Go Next. If you get lost, click Go Back to start playing the lesson again.
1. Open the Animation cast.
2. In the Score, select channel 2, frame 30 and drag Button 1from the Animation cast to the bottom right corner of the stage.
3. Drag the UI Pushbutton behavior onto the Button 1 sprite and choose Button 2 as the Hilite Image.
4. Drag the Go to Frame behavior onto the button sprite and make sure 1is entered as the destination frame.
5. Drag the sprite to channel 2, frame 40. Before releasing the mouse button, press the Alt key (Windows) or the Option key (Macintosh). Be sure NOT to press Alt or Option before you begin dragging.
6. Rewind and play the movie to see how it works, then stop the movie.
